2024 CONTINUUM OF CARE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION

Recommended Action

A motion to approve a resolution authorizing:

1.                     the draft California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) resolution allowing the City of Salinas (City) as the Administrative Entity (AE) to apply for the Continuum of Care Allocation to the 2024 ESG Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA); and

2.                     the City Manager or designee to modify the draft resolution to be in accordance with the final HCD Resolution; and

3.                     the execution of a standard agreement and any amendments thereto HCD ESG Program; and

4.                     the City Manager or designee to execute all applicable HCD grant documents, necessary amendments, and applicable subrecipient agreements; and 

5.                     the appropriation of awarded 2024 HCD ESG CoC funds to the Emergency Solutions Grant - CoC account
