Recommended Action

Provide direction to staff regarding Councilmembers’ requests to provide a sponsorship contribution in the amount of $100,000 to Compass Church for the 2025 Fourth of July Celebrate America Fireworks Extravaganza; and if the City Council determines to provide a sponsorship contribution, approve a Resolution authorizing a sponsorship contribution in the amount of $100,000 to Compass Church, and also approve a corresponding budget allocation of $100,000 from the General Funds - Fund Balance, thereby reducing available funding to start FY 2026-27.
