Recommended Action
Approve a Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the $300,000 U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) Modernization Program Grant, if awarded; delegating authority to the City Manager to execute all grant-related documents; and establishing the grant expense appropriation and corresponding revenue budget for up to $300,000 to support grant activities; delegating authority to the City Manager or designee to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF); and authorizing the direct purchase and payment for the LeadsOnline IBIS BrassTrax ballistic imaging equipment, licensing, and services, for a term of seven (7) years at a cost not to exceed $300,000.
